Procedure Day
The procedure is done at the doctor's office/clinic as an outpatient procedure.
The procedure itself will take approximately one hour.
Patients will return home on the day of the procedure.
Post Procedure
BAE is an outpatient procedure.
Post-procedure recovery of 4–6 hours prior to discharge.
Home to rest for the remainder of the day.
You may shower the next day and go back to your normal routine.
No heavy lifting or exercise until your follow-up appointment.
Your full list of instructions will be given to you prior to the procedure.
Expectation
Participation will last 12 months.
Includes close follow-up with diet and exercise plans.
